Saturday Morning Bike Ride

With the fully changed, and now starting to fall of the trees, there are probably only a few more weekends of bike riding before 1. it gets too cold and 2. the end of the semester crunch means I’m in studio full time. I thought I’d share my favorite Saturday morning ride out to Concord. Look at the route on Google Maps here.

Highlights include the Gropius House in bucolic Lincoln:

Walden Pond:

the deCordova Art Center:

and also farms and forests (and Mitt Romney’s house in Belmont).

The ride takes about three hours round trip, a bit faster if you take the completely flat Minute Path for the return trip.

  1. For fun things to do: Try apple picking at Honey Pot Hill Orchards in Stow VT. Not as good as looking at buildings, but you get to climb a few really cool, pointy ladders and cart home dozens of apples at half price.
