Zaha Hadid at DAC

This summer, I visited Danish Architecture Centre and saw Zaha Hadid’s first solo exhibit in Scandinavia.  What has stuck with me the most is the field of pristine white models placed on pedestals in the largest exhibition room. Set up in this way, you can readily see the evolution of one line of investigation as well as see how many of her projects connect formally. The last two photos are of the interactive installation – cylindrical elements suspended by netting lowered from the ceiling and the lighting effects shift as viewers move around the space.

Unfortunately, the exhibit closed September 29, but you can see more images and watch video of the interactive installation on the DAC website.
