I recently met with Jen and Mia, from Post-Work. Both GSD graduates (in landscape and architecture), the two young founders have created a service to help people find fun and creatives ways to spend their afterwork time—post work from 5-9. What’s great about Postwork is that is isn’t about everything you can do, but rather provides a curated list of things you could do.
From making a snowflake on the CNC router to visiting the MIT Museum’s exhibition “Hidden Heroes: The Genius of Everyday Things” (which closes at the end of September) I’ve been surprised at the fact that Postwork has managed to connect me with a nice way to unwind and engage the city’s creative resources in unanticipated ways.
With summer winding down, those of us in school might want to take the last couple of weekends and weeknights in August to see what Postwork has to offer.
